TAXATION AND SSO (SOCIAL SECURITY ORGANIZATION) CONTRIBUTIONS
All the invoices are deducted by five percent (5%) as SSO retention from each and the last invoice shall be held in line with the provision of Article 38 of the Social Security Act.
Refunding the retention to the Contractor depends on presentation of final SSO clearance (certificate) from the Social Security Organization otherwise, according to the note of article 38 of Social Security law and regulation, the Company has the right to pay 5% retention of total amount of the Contract along with the last invoice held to SSO account at least one year after expiration or termination of the Contract unless Contractor dose not present the related SSO clearance certificate to Company within one year.
With the exception of withholdings on account of social security charges which the Company is required by law to provisionally retain, Retentions on account of social security charges shall only be released in favour of the Contractor when it presents the Company with the official clearance from the Social Security Organization relating to the Contract and showing the gross value of invoices on which such retentions had been made.
Upon Completion of the Contract and prior to the payment of the last invoice the Contractor shall submit a Final Settlement of Account Certificate from SSO and Account Clearance Certificate from the Apprenticeship Fund Proof that complied hereof and as invoice in triplicate
